My personal observation is that reta tolerance seems to scale with weight. I could barely tolerate half the lowest therapeutic dose whereas others are on 10mg/week.
One interesting thing is that muscles have GIP receptors suggesting reta may protect against catabolism. And for oneself it has a dramatic lowering effect on lipids, resting glucose, and liver enzymes.
It gives a certain upregulation of sympathetic tone that I have found quite helpful, by comparison sema gave me cold extremities.
I’ve found weight loss without medication through a fasting routine. Side benefit is getting a handle on metabolic disease should that be an issue as well. However, to be fair, I never was extremely overweight. And as perhaps with you, simply tired of my general “dad bod” condition. As I read into today’s missive, you are attempting a “body recomposition” program.
In that I see a similarity with myself. My age is 73 yo. Losing weight via fasting is problematic. Fat loss is fine, muscle loss is not. Indeed, stepping on the scale daily is not even useful—sarcopenia to be avoided in old age at all cost. As others have commented, start emphasizing weight training rather than weight loss. Muscle mass, not weight, will bring out the desired proportions. As a relative “youngster”, I assume your testosterone levels are working in your favor. Mine, of course, are not.
Here’s a recommendation I did not see in your posting, “DEXA scan”. Search for a provider in your area. The scan will produce your bone, muscle, and fat density percentages. This might be a better guide by which to measure progress.
>Still unemployed. I still have 2-3 months before my dad gets tired of me and ships me back to the tax haven
Same situation here, but my dad already got tired.

I've been on 0.4mg EOD for 3 weeks.
It's like 120 USD for 8mg in Ukraine.
I'm down a few KG in that time.
Edit - Thanks for the source.
Peptaura is way cheaper than proteinchik
Jesus, how tall are you man? I’m 183cm and lowest I have ever got is 69.50 and I felt awful.

Ah you're fine then. Ribs showing isn't bad, you need muscle.
How is a guy like you having trouble finding work? Are you actually searching or taking a hiatus?
