Is this a common side effect in medicine as a whole? iirc martin shkreli's take was that the high molecular weight of peptides like BPC-157 would both reduce efficacy but also be safer than most small molecule medicine because its harder for it to cross lipid membranes or the blood brain barrier. I think it could just be a nocebo effect

I'd always wondered why the longevity people thought they could get away with ~10x lower doses once per week of Rapamycin vs the mouse studies, and that answered it directly.

The effect definitely felt real. Whether it was caused directly by BPC-157 is a different question.
